Trusted Construction Training Ltd are a fully accredited NPORS plant test centre and NVQ awarding body therefore not only able to offer the training required to gain an initial NPORS licence but also able to support those looking to renew/upgrade both plant CPCS & NPORS licences.
As you are most likely aware, the NVQ assessment is a mandatory requirement set by the awarding bodies, NPORS & CPCS, in order to upgrade from the trained operator licence.
The NVQ is a competency-based assessment and is aimed to extract the knowledge, practical skills and experience obtained by the individual since obtaining their initial trained operator licence to ensure they are still safe and competent within the role.
The NVQ will also verify the candidates underpinning knowledge surrounding health and safety on site within each qualification’s mandatory units.
There are three steps required in order to fully complete the qualification criteria;
Once the assessor is confident that all of the required evidence has been obtained, this will be thoroughly mapped against the awarding body standards within the NVQ portfolio. The portfolio is then audited by our approved Internal Quality Auditor (IQA) to which the certificate can be claimed.
The certificate can take approximately 7-10 working days for us to receive from the awarding body. Rest assured, that once we are in receipt of this, we will process the application of your NPORS/CPCS upgrade licence.
We estimate an overall wait of up to 4 weeks to receive your upgrade licence on completion of your NVQ assessment provided all pre-requisites are already in place.
