Terms & Conditions of Business

Course bookings will be placed and confirmed by Trusted Construction Training Ltd provided this in writing, usually via email.

Please note, any personal data provided to us on booking will be processed in accordance with our Data Privacy Policy.

Fees

All fees are subject to VAT at the appropriate rate.

All course fees are payable in full 7 working days before course commencement, unless agreed otherwise.

Where possible we can look to take deposit payments initially to secure your preferred course space, please note all deposits are non-refundable. Remaining course fees are then required in full 7 working days prior to course commencement.

We reserve the right to decline course attendance if we are not in receipt of the full course payment.

Cancellation and Substitution Course Fees – *excluding NVQ’s

Once a confirmed booking has been made, any cancellation or amendment request must be made in writing.

The best way to achieve this is by emailing info@tctraining.co.uk

• A cancellation with 5 working days or less notice –100% of the course fee is chargeable.
• A cancellation within 6 or more working days’ notice – 50% of the course fee is chargeable.

If Trusted Construction Training have incurred additional costs which are non-refundable to us as a business (accommodation, freelance instructor fees) these will be charged in full irrespective of when the course is cancelled.

Substitute delegates will be accepted free of charge.

Cancellation and Substitution Fees – NVQ’s

Once a confirmed booking has been made, any cancellation or amendment request must be made in writing.

• 100% of the NVQ fee will apply if the NVQ booking is cancelled, we cannot accept name replacements as each awarding body registration is specific to the individual and qualification registration processed.
  • If a candidate’s registration only has been processed and no work has been conducted by the assessment team, only 50% of the NVQ fee is chargeable upon cancellation.

Training Course Pre-Requisites

It is the responsibility of the individual or organisation placing the booking to ensure that delegates meet any pre-course requisites.

Late Arrival of Delegates

Our upmost effort will be made to accommodate delegates who are slightly late for their course start time, however, to ensure that we do not disadvantage delegates who arrive on time we can only allow a 30-minute window before commencing with the course booked.

If, in the opinion of the instructor, the late delegate has not missed too much of the course contents and this can be made up during the day, the delegate will be allowed to join the course. If, in the opinion of the instructor, the delegate is not able to make up the missed work, the delegate will not be allowed to join the course. Full course fees will still stand for this space booked.

Equal Opportunities

All delegates must adhere to our equal opportunities policy in respect off all staff and learners, no discriminatory behaviour will be tolerated. Trusted reserve the right to remove delegates from training if so. The full course fee will still apply if this unfortunate event were to occur.

Issue Of Certificates/ID Cards

Certificates for delegates who have attended short courses will be sent electronically within 10 working days of course completion, provided payment has been received in full. The only exception to this is if delays are experienced in receipt of certification from governing bodies such as CITB & ProQual.

Please note – CSCS cards cannot be processed until we have received certification from the awarding body to support the CSCS card application, therefore, we estimate that CSCS cards can take approximately 3-4 weeks from course completion until we are in receipt.

NVQ Certification – Delegates that are outstanding the completion of a H&S Test will be reminded by Trusted Construction Training Ltd on completion of their NVQ. If no H&S Test PASS certificate has been received from the delegate within 60 days, the NVQ certificate ONLY will be posted to the candidate directly and the card application deemed their own responsibility.

In the case of credit accounts Trusted Construction Training Ltd reserve, the right to withhold the issue of all outstanding certificates if the account is overdue, until such time as the account is fully settled.

Cancellation Of Courses by Trusted Construction Training Ltd

Trusted reserve the right to cancel courses if insufficient delegates are available to make the running of the course viable, however, we shall do our upmost to avoid this wherever possible.
